
Tokyo Sweets Collection 2013, an event combining 2013's trendy sweets with a fashion show, will be held at Shinagawa Prince Hotel on March 9th. Tokyo Sweets Collection is an entertainment event where attendees can enjoy the latest sweets while watching models walk down the runway in sweet dresses created in collaboration with Japan's leading pastry chefs and top stylist Ako Kondo. This year marks the fifth anniversary of the event, and nine pastry chefs, including Hironobu Tsujiguchi (Mont Saint Clair, Jiyugaoka), Koji Tsuchiya (Theobroma, Yoyogi Park), and Toshihiko Yoroizuka (Toshi Yoroizuka, Ebisu), will gather to perform exclusive performances. Also, in a first for the event, the 2013 sweets trends will be announced at the venue, giving attendees a sneak peek at the latest sweets created based on the announcement. This is an event where you can experience with all five senses the world of exquisite sweets created by trend-inspired pastry chefs.
