UUIN partnered with ECLAT TEXTILE CO. The three designers were inspired by the "bento" lunches they ate during the COVID-19 pandemic and the concept of making the most of everything, and applied it to clothing designs. WEAVISM created pieces using recycled fabric made from discarded fish scales produced by LI PENG ENTERPRISE CO. and the latest fabric dyeing methods that save water and carbon. Each brand showcased 12 pieces at the opening show, with a total of 72 pieces released.

This season, Taipei Fashion Week selected 27 Taiwanese brands and helped them set up showrooms, holding online AW22 new product launches and pre-order events. It also held online shop matching events with 50 overseas buyers (including Japan's Baycrews, SHIPS, Freaks store, and BEAMS; Korea's Shinsegae International; Singapore's Isetan; China's ALTER, Le select, and Yishangmen; America's Ron Herman and 3NY; France's CoeurSacré and Jogging), focusing on market development by reaching more potential buyers.
Taipei Fashion Week is not only the first fashion week in Asia to advocate "sustainability," but is also gradually establishing itself as an international phenomenon. Taipei Fashion Week SS23 in the second half of this year will continue to build on the energy accumulated over the five years since Taipei Fashion Week began, with a continued focus on sustainability. It aims to promote Taiwan's proud textile industry and diverse designs to a wider audience.
