Lumine is hosting "WOMANS," the fifth installment of its "LUMINE THE QUARTIER-LA" incubation project to support young creators, to support unique female fashion designers. Works will be exhibited and sold at Shinjuku Lumine 2 from March 6th to 13th.

LUMINE THE QUARTIER-LA was launched in 2001 with the aim of discovering and nurturing brands that will lead the next generation of fashion business. Based on the concepts of "creating something new" and "discovering what the industry has yet to see," the event has introduced exclusive shops and up-and-coming creators that can only be found at Lumine. This time, the focus is on 10 female fashion designers from 9 brands, conveying a worldview that is "strong, gentle, and beautiful" that is unique to women. Participating designers include Ichikawa Maiko of WJKW, eri of mother and VTOPIA, Kajitani Yoshitaka of YOSHiKO CREATiON, the Kawabata sisters Suari and Hiraka of joujou, Sakai Yoko of DECEIVE.., Suzuki Yumi of ARIA, Tsuda Chiho of chigo, Nagashima Rie of archi, and Mabuchi Akemi of Y.M.Walts.
