Supermodel Kate Moss returns to Rag & Bone's Spring/Summer 2013 adverts

Feb 1, 2013

Kate Moss has been appointed as the face of rag & bone's Spring/Summer 2013 collection, following on from last season. The images were shot by British photographer Alasdair McLellan in Southrop, Gloucestershire, England, and produced by Laird+Partners, a New York-based creative agency that works with numerous luxury brands. Behind-the-scenes shots and videos will be released in due course. "We chose a secluded suburban village to contrast with the previous collection. Southrop is coincidentally a place that Kate herself is familiar with, and it also allowed us to capture the British atmosphere of rag & bone," said Marcus Wainwright, designer and managing partner of rag & bone.

Rag & Bone is a fashion brand started in New York by Marcus Wainwright and David Neville. They are also actively expanding their business in Japan, with a corner opening in "Re-Style" on the third floor of the remodeled Isetan Shinjuku store in December last year, and a pop-up shop opening in the Hankyu Umeda main store. Furthermore, a large store carrying the men's and women's collections is scheduled to open in Futako Tamagawa in April this year. When they visited Japan in December last year, they spoke to FASHION HEADLINE in an interview about the key points of rag & bone style styling.
