Valerie Mallory Gallery holds first exhibition in Japan, featuring works by 10 up-and-coming artists who have collaborated with Louis Vuitton and Miu Miu

Feb 15, 2013

VALERIE MALLORY GALLERY, a legendary gallery formerly located in New York, will hold its first exhibition in Japan, starting on February 16th. The exhibition will feature works by 10 artists, including London-based graphic artist Danny Sangra, who has collaborated with Louis Vuitton and Miu Miu, and designer Sarianne Plaisant, who has worked on installations for Harry Winston and advertisements for Jo Malone. Founded in 1978 by critic Valerie Mallory, the gallery was forced to close the following year following her deportation. Decades later, Valerie's son, Victor Mallory, reopened it as an online gallery.
