"Berlin x Tokyo" art event held at Roppongi Hills

Commemorating the 20th anniversary of the sister city partnership between Berlin and Tokyo, the "BERLIN × TOKYO Design, Art and Culture Exhibition—The Gap Where New Design is Born" will be held on November 29th and 30th at Roppongi Hills.

This two-day event will showcase the latest art, design, and fashion from Berlin. It will feature European products carefully selected by DMY, the organizer of Germany's leading design exhibition, the DMY International Design Festival, as well as works expressing the intersection of technology and humanity curated by Berlin art space THE WYE and Berlin fashion carried by select shop WUT. Japanese exhibitors will also be participating, including the flower art unit plantica and the design firm Nosigner. The event will also feature a talk show exploring the role of design and art in future urban life, a workshop by Berlin-based startup EyeEM, and more.
... Antarctic Takt, a new program by German-based French artist Dasha Rush, will be making its Asian debut, as well as audiovisual live performances by Berlin-based Japanese artist Ryoichi Kurokawa and YourCosmos, a hip-hop unit led by Rhizomatiks' Daito Manabe.
