Fashion magazine NYLON JAPAN will publish an art book for its popular serial project, "Kaela's Gallery," in collaboration with Kimura Kaela. It's scheduled for release on December 17th.
The art book, "Kaela's Gallery," commemorates Kimura Kaela's 30th birthday and the 10th anniversary of her collaboration with the magazine. It features a story shot by photographers Masayoshi Sukita and Motohiko Hasui, as well as an exclusive long interview. It also includes three years' worth of archived work, making it a 116-page book packed with Kaela's art.
The impressive cover design, which makes the artwork appear to jump out of the pages, is a sure sign of its appeal in bookstores. The special edition includes a Kimura Kaela-printed tote bag and is priced at ¥3,500. It will be limited to 2,000 copies. The original edition, meanwhile, is priced at ¥3,000. Both are available for pre-order on Nylon's official website.
