Jordan Brand has announced the "Jordan Brand SPRING 2021 Retro Collection" as its new collection for Spring 2021.
In addition to new designs for the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 4, and Air Jordan 5, this collection will also feature three new women's shoes, including the first women's Air Jordan 9. Let's take a look at the lineup.
Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG (¥19,250 including tax)
The new design of the classic Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG is inspired by various elements of past Air Jordan 1s. Features like a foldable eyelet flap, an exposed foam tongue, an inside-out tongue tag, and a tonal tri-color scheme of Volt, University Gold, and Sail create a new expression while honoring past designs.
Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG (¥19,250 including tax)
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG features a fresh take on familiar colors. University Blue is used on the ankle, heel, and toe leather, as well as the outsole, while black is used on the Swoosh and collar. This contrast with the white on the midfoot panel, midsole, tongue, and toe box creates a sleek and cool look. The black Wings logo and University Blue branding on the tongue complete the clean, classic details.
Women's Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG (¥19,250 including tax)
This women's model offers a twist on the Air Jordan 1 Gold Toe, replacing the patent gold of the gold toe with a wrinkled silver material inspired by the future of space innovation and flight technology. The color-blocking—black natural leather on the toe, tongue, and collar, white on the midfoot panel and midsole, and silver on the ankle, heel, and instep—creates a fashionable balance.
Air Jordan 3 Retro (¥23,100 including tax)
The Air Jordan 3 Retro, returning for the first time since 2007, features the expected colorway and upgraded materials. Sport Red and Orange Peel accents appear on the tongue, eyelets, Airbag, and heel tab, while the upgraded construction features a natural leather upper, a matte midsole, and elephant print on the forefoot and heel.
Women's Air Jordan 4 (¥24,200 including tax)
Inspired by space exploration, this women's model embodies the strength and beauty of the technical materials used in spacesuits throughout the Air Jordan 4. The upper features a black and starfish orange metallic mesh with a matte TPU heel tab and wings. The midfoot panel and base of the tongue are covered in black mesh knit, and the edges of the tongue material are cut off to expose the foam underneath. Orange accents on the toe and heel of the rubber outsole complete the overall design of the shoe.

The new Air Jordan 4 features a University Blue natural suede upper, combining premium materials with a classic Jumpman color scheme. Mesh netting is featured on the midfoot panel and lower tongue, while the familiar cement pattern is used on the midsole, heel tab, and eyelet flaps for subtle accents. A fabric jock tag is also attached to the tongue.
Air Jordan 5 Retro (¥23,100 including tax)
An evolution of the Air Jordan 5 Stealth, released in 2006, this shoe adds a fresh twist to a familiar colorway. The white upper is made of natural leather and features a silver reflective tongue, also used in the OG. The blue midsole features black shark-tooth accents. The lace toggle and sockliner are the same blue as the midsole, creating a unified look while also serving as a design point for the shoe.

This shoe reimagines the Air Jordan 5, utilizing iconic materials in new locations. While the OG often features reflective material on the top of the tongue, this model places it on the midfoot panel and bottom of the tongue. This Air Jordan 5 combines suede, textiles, and translucent materials in new ways, while retaining OG details like the iconic "23" logo on the heel and the shark's tooth pattern on the midsole, resulting in a new look that blends old and new designs.
