Executive Chef Fumio Yonezawa of grill restaurant "The Burn" and DEAN & DELUCA have created a special holiday menu for you to enjoy with your family and loved ones.

A simple yet classic main dish in Christmas colors that will brighten up your table

This gorgeous dish is made with aged sirloin steak, which has a pleasant aroma and flavor, spread with mustard and garlic puree and finished with white, black, and pink peppercorns.

"This steak is a classic dish inspired by the holiday vibe and my memories of New York. When serving, slice it into pieces just under 1cm long. It goes well with potato dishes like French fries or mashed potatoes, or a red salad with beets and pomegranate. If you're drinking alcohol, try chilled champagne or red wine. Enjoy this dish with close friends. I would be happy if it brings smiles to your faces and creates happy moments (Yonezawa)."

Serve with caramelized onions, marmalade with whole grain mustard, and light cream spinach with the aroma of basil.

Yonezawa Fumio
After graduating from high school, he trained at an Italian restaurant in Ebisu for four years. In 2002, he moved to New York alone and was appointed the first Japanese sous chef at the main branch of the three-star restaurant Jean-Georges. After returning to Japan, he worked as executive chef at renowned restaurants in Japan. When Jean-Georges entered the Japanese market, he was appointed the restaurant's chef de cuisine. He was appointed head chef of The Burn in the summer of 2018.

Starting with a collaboration on a limited-edition holiday menu, DEAN & DELUCA will collaborate on a prepared food renewal and menu development for next spring.
