IKEA Japan, the Japanese subsidiary of IKEA, the Swedish home furnishing company with a vision of "creating a better everyday life for the many people," has announced that it will open IKEA Shinjuku in spring 2021, its third urban store, following IKEA Harajuku and IKEA Shibuya.

Conveniently located just a five-minute walk from JR Shinjuku Station, IKEA Shinjuku will be the company's third urban store, following IKEA Harajuku and IKEA Shibuya. Located in a central urban location that attracts a wide range of customers from all over the world, IKEA Shinjuku will offer sustainable living at affordable prices to more people. IKEA Shinjuku will also offer food that allows customers to experience the flavors of Sweden. You can now more easily enjoy shopping for home furnishing ideas to make your life more comfortable and convenient products for urban living.
President and Chief Sustainability Officer Helen von Reiss commented: "We are thrilled to open our third City Shop in Shinjuku, the heart of the city, and meet more Tokyo residents. At a time when our homes are even more important to us than ever, we hope to be able to provide inspiration for home furnishing solutions. As we work towards our 2030 goal of becoming climate positive, we will continue to focus on plant-based food and sustainable products in the Shinjuku store."
IKEA Japan will open IKEA Harajuku on June 8th, and IKEA Shibuya on November 30th. With the opening of IKEA Shinjuku, we will be able to provide more people than ever before with solutions that meet the needs of urban living through democratically designed products.
