In addition to the collection exhibition, explanations were given on the environmental and social challenges facing the fashion industry, H&M's efforts to address these issues through circular fashion, and its "Looop" clothing-to-clothing recycling system. Visitors listened intently to learn not only about the potential for turning waste into resources, but also about the critical situation the fashion industry finds itself in.

In addition to traditional recycled polyester and natural materials such as Tencel® Lyocell, the collection features a number of new innovative techniques and materials, including a manufacturing process that reuses food crop waste to create high-quality natural fibres, fabrics made from sustainably sourced wood fibre and recycled plastic waste, and a manufacturing process that recycles discarded clothing and textiles into new fabric without compromising quality.
