This is the second installment of the Louis Vuitton 2054 collection, Men's Artistic Director Virgil Abloh's grand-scale experiment in functional fashion. Green and black prints are inspired by the brightness of night vision, while multicolored patterns are inspired by the hues of thermal imaging. A ski suit, combining a padded jacket and pants, is water-repellent and breathable, making it a functional piece for everyday urban wear. This is also reflected in a shell tracksuit, whose iridescent surface effect matches a silver puffer jacket. A leather parka features a 3D pattern that enhances texture. Multi-zippers allow you to change your style depending on your mood or environment, allowing for versatile styling.
A shirt designed using the Compressomorphosis technique can be folded into a crossbody bag. The transformable message is also reflected in the water-repellent bag, which features a removable elastic pocket. The collection also features the black LV Runner sneaker, designed with vibrant colors and reflective high-tech materials.
The Louis Vuitton 2054 features a three-dimensional signature and classic Monogram motif in a trompe l'oeil style, creating a striking presence. The name of the collection, "Louis Vuitton 2054," symbolizes the future and progress - fusing the year 1854, when the Maison was founded, with the current century, and reflects the desire for the collection to remain an essential part of any wardrobe even 200 years after its founding.
