From March 15th to 21st, Mitsukoshi Japan will host a collaboration event with Game Symphony Japan (GSJ), a project that produces concerts specializing in game music. On the 20th, a one-day-only concert themed on "P5 (Persona 5)" (hereafter "P5") will also be held at the Mitsukoshi Theater on the 6th floor. This first-ever collaboration between Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi, which aims to be the most enjoyable store in Japan as a hub for Japanese culture, and GSJ, which is attracting attention as a new cultural and artistic outlet for Japan, aims to promote the appeal of game music, a genre Japan is proud of, from the store itself. Mitsukoshi Theater, celebrating its 90th anniversary this year, will host an original concert themed on the popular game "P5," titled "GAME SYMPHONY JAPAN PREMIUM CONCERT ~P5~" (three performances at 12:00 PM, 2:45 PM, and 5:30 PM), on the 20th. The concert will bring the stage and audience together. Additionally, the "Hajimari Cafe" on the 7th floor of the main building will feature a full score and musical instrument exhibits, allowing visitors to experience the world of GSJ. It will also feature valuable materials from the "Persona" series, primarily "P5." Eight items featuring illustrations created specifically for the event, including "P5" masking tape, clear files, posters, and mint tablets, will also be on display and available for pre-order. A special collaboration version of "P5" by the AI-enabled robot "Kibiro (c)" will also be on display and available for pre-order. (Only the "P5" version will be available for sale.) Additionally, the Mitsukoshi Culture Salon on the 9th floor of the new building will host a stand-up fan meeting (¥5,400 including tax) with game music creators and concert performers on the 15th (Kenichi Shimura, Masashi Meguro (Atlus)), the 18th (Kenichi Shimura, Hiroki Kikuta), and the 19th (Kenichi Shimura, Michiko Naruke, Noriyuki Iwadare).
