Swiss luxury watch brand TAG Heuer has released the "TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Jack Heuer Birthday Limited Edition" to celebrate the 88th birthday of Jack Heuer, the great-grandson of the company's founder, former CEO, and current honorary advisor, and to pay tribute to his visionary contributions to the brand as it celebrates its 160th anniversary.

With the driver's name and blood type engraved on the caseback, the Heuer Carrera (1158CHN) became a rare collector's item and a symbol of racing's golden age. The newly announced TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Jack Heuer Birthday Limited Edition features a case made of 18K rose gold, Jack's beloved material. Gold's timeless value embodies the eternal connection between Jack, TAG Heuer, motorsport, and the outstanding drivers of each era. The dial features silver opaline with two applied infinity loops at its center, symbolizing his timeless legacy to the brand.
Faithfully recreating the aesthetics of the original Heuer Carrera (1158CHN), the sunburst satin-finished subdials are located at 3 and 9 o'clock. As with the original racing timepiece, they create a beautiful contrast with the black. The counter at 6 o'clock, which was not present on the original model, blends elegantly into the dial in a tone-on-tone design. The perfectly balanced silhouette of the hands and newly designed date display, perfectly balanced with the size of the hour markers, reflect Jack's vision and aesthetic eye for clean, clear dial design, and these subtle details complete the timepiece's beautiful balance.
This timepiece is powered by the in-house Heuer 02 movement, boasting a power reserve of approximately 80 hours. The Heuer 02 features a vertical clutch, column wheel, and a total of 168 components. The leather strap features Jack's signature, and the automatic rotor, visible through the caseback, is engraved with Jack Heuer's motto, "Time never stops, why should we?"
