During British Week, which runs from March 15th to 28th at the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Store, a special promotion by "DAVID VOWIE is" will be held.
DAVID BOWIE is, a major retrospective of David Bowie as one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, which summarises his worldview and career, is being held until April 9th at Warehouse Terrada in Japan, the only venue in Asia to do so. This special promotion will feature a rare pop-up where you can obtain official merchandise that was previously only available at the exhibition venue for a limited time.
On the first floor of the building, the lightning-patterned pouch, which is also very popular at the exhibition's official store, will be sold as a pen pouch (1,400 yen) ahead of the retrospective. In addition, limited edition Boston bags (128,000 yen including tax) and shoulder bags (98,000 yen including tax) that reproduce the materials and techniques of the "Tokyo Pop" costumes provided by Kansai Yamamoto will be on sale, as well as a variety of official merchandise.
At dunhill, a promotional shop on the first floor, customers can order custom-made suits inspired by the famous photographs taken by official photographer Mick Rock of David Bowie wearing the suits he wore during the sessions for "Life on Mars" and "Pin Ups."
At MIHARA YASUHIRO on the second floor of the building, three limited edition designs each of distressed T-shirts, distressed sweatshirt pullovers, and distressed sweatshirt zip-up hoodies will be sold, all printed with photographs of David Bowie taken by Mick Rock. At the Isetan Men's/Charlie Weiss gallery on the 8th floor of the building, you can purchase your favorite photograph from among the approximately 200 photos included in Mick Rock's photo book "The Rise of David Bowie 1972-1973." There will also be a special offer with six different sizes to choose from, all autographed by Mick Rock himself. During the event, part of the building's interior and the main entrance show window will be decorated in "DAVID BOWIE is" style.
