Tiffany & Co. opened a new flagship store on the Champs-Élysées in Paris. Hollywood actresses Jessica Biel and Hilary Swank attended the opening event.
The three-story store spans approximately 976 square meters. Each floor is connected by a spiral staircase made of Calacatta marble and limestone, surrounded by chandeliers. Windows maximize natural light to highlight the beauty of the diamonds inside the store. Private salons are also available for leisurely shopping. Photographs and paintings depicting the brand's 177-year connection with France, dating back to its first Paris store in 1868, are also on display.
To commemorate the opening, the Tiffany Diamond, one of the world's rarest diamonds, is on display for a limited time. The Tiffany Diamond is a 128.54-carat yellow diamond purchased in Paris by Tiffany founder Charles Lewis Tiffany in 1878. It is set in a necklace with over 100 carats of white diamonds. The opening event, held on June 10, was attended by approximately 300 guests, including Jessica Biel, Hilary Swank, French actresses Emmanuelle Seigner, Marina Hands, Mélanie Doute, Elsa Zylberstein, and Italian actress Caterina Murino. After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, guests enjoyed the Tiffany Diamond and other jewelry pieces in the store. They then proceeded to the Arc de Triomphe at the western end of the Champs-Élysées for a party on the Arc de Triomphe's rooftop terrace. The evening was filled with entertainment, including a performance by British singer-songwriter VV Brown and a performance by the obelisk at the Place de la Concorde, which was dyed Tiffany blue.
To mark the opening, Tiffany has joined the Centre des Monuments Nationales de France (CMN) and announced that it will support the restoration of the Arc de Triomphe, a cultural asset that symbolizes France.
