To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Taro Okamoto Award for Contemporary Art, a special exhibition featuring 20 selected artists will be held, "20 Years of the Taro Award / 20 Demon Children."

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Taro Okamoto Award for Contemporary Art, the exhibition "20 Years of the TARO Award: 20 Demon Children" will be held at the Taro Okamoto Memorial Museum in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo, from March 12 to June 18. The TARO Award was established by Toshiko Okamoto, who was left alone after losing Taro Okamoto, with the belief that "it is my job to pass on Taro's legacy to the next generation." This exhibition showcases works by 20 "Demon Children" from among the 410 artists who have been selected for the 20th anniversary of the award. This is a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in the intense artistic space created by these unique artists. Participating artists include Muneteru Ujino, Yoichi Umezu, Oscar Oiwa, Olta, Sachiko Kazama, Tsubasa Kato, Tomohiro Kato, Kenichi Kanazawa, Kyun-cho-me, Hitoshi and Kohta, Saeborg, Kotaro Sekiguchi, Hisashi Tenmyouya, and Is Tohokuga Possible? , Nagasawa Takahiro, Nishio Yasuyuki, Murai Yuki, Yamaguchi Akira, Yoshida Shinnosuke, and Wakagi Kurumi. Gallery talks will also be held on March 17th, April 14th, May 18th, and June 15th.
