On March 18th, la kagu, the shop-in-shop of the curated online shopping site HATCH, will host their first joint project, "Books, Beauty, and Gadgets."
HATCH, which operates shop-in-shops with the aim of providing new discoveries and encounters with items that broaden one's tastes through the unique physical store experience of seeing, touching, and shopping, is hosting a special talk event for the new spring season, themed "food, clothing, shelter, and knowledge."
The event will feature four popular HATCH selectors, each conducting a one-on-one discussion in two parts, each with a different theme. The first part will feature columnist Nemiko Shinsan, who pursues healing and purification, and artist Haruka Hirata, who values inner beauty through the use of real organic products. They will each discuss the beauty methods they practice daily. In the second part, book director Haba Masataka, who proposes books in various places, and media creator Hirock, who calls himself an avid reader, will engage in a deep conversation that goes beyond reading, covering topics such as gadgets and food, making it a one-day limited talk event.
