The OFS Spring Marche, featuring a variety of spring-inducing brands from all over Japan, will be held at OUR FAVOURITE SHOP in Shirokane, Tokyo from March 18th to 20th.
In addition to the bread and ingredients that were a huge success last time, the eat-in corner will also be well-stocked with vegetables imported from Okinawa, Hakkaisan craft beer, unusual smoothies made with charcoal and amazake, and prepared dishes made only with pesticide-free vegetables. Participating stalls include "HAPPY NUTS DAY," a peanut butter brand made only with peanuts from Chiba Prefecture, sugar beets from Hokkaido, and sea salt from Kujukuri; "Salagadoola," which turns raw cacao beans, roasted cacao nibs, and carefully selected cacao beans from around the world into roasted chocolate bars; "Cheese no Koe," Japan's first store specializing in Hokkaido natural cheese, which opened in Kiyosumi Shirakawa; and "KLASINA," an organic, home-cooked restaurant serving vegan dishes and featuring pesticide-free vegetables from Minamiaso.
Also, on the 19th, SAYOKO, director and manager of "Cafe and MACROBI," a cafe located in a back alley in Aoyama and Shibuya, will be holding an original soy sauce koji making workshop (3,000 yen, reservation required/maximum 6 people). You can make your own original soy sauce koji using soy sauce with live bacteria that has been aged in cedar barrels and raw "rice koji" that is carefully handmade using rice produced in Yamagata Prefecture. Soy sauce koji, which is characterized by its fragrant, sweet aroma, has a strong flavor with less than soy sauce, and is a fermented seasoning that can be used in a variety of Japanese, Chinese, and ethnic dishes. On the 20th, a slow-cooked curry made with multiple spices by "bluestract," which has been well-received at various OFS events, will also be available.
