Furla's 90th anniversary collection, created in collaboration with a paper cutting artist, is exclusive to Japan

Mar 24, 2017

To celebrate its 90th anniversary, FURLA will be releasing a Japan-exclusive collection of bags and wallets from early April, incorporating traditional Japanese craft techniques.

The collection was created in collaboration with Ozeki Mikito, a paper cutting artist active both in Japan and abroad. The iconic "METROPOLIS" bag (73,000 yen) and "BABYLON" wallet (40,000 yen), featuring the peony motif, whose floral meaning is "a symbol of elegant love" and "a symbol of feminine beauty and wisdom," will be available at FURLA stores nationwide in four colors: white, pale pink, champagne gold, and chic black. (All prices are tentative.)

Purchasers of the collection between now and April 30th will be entered into a lottery to win an original FURLA gift.
