Hanamoto Tomoko is an illustrator who has worked on a wide range of projects, including illustrations for magazines such as FIGARO japon, anan, Hanako, FRaU, and Oggi, as well as advertisements for Mitsukoshi Isetan, Takashimaya, and Atre, and collaborations with brands to create logos, products, packaging, displays, and videos.
Hanamoto Tomoko will be holding her own solo exhibition, titled "dreamlike," from December 1st at Popularity Gallery & Studio in Gaienmae, Tokyo.
30 new works, all of which are original artworks based on the theme of "dreamlike," which also serves as the exhibition title, will be exhibited together.
The works include GARASUE (glass paintings) and watercolor illustrations. The delicate lines of the drawings on glass cast floating shadows, sensually creating a mysterious sense of depth like being in a dream.
