Starbucks has released its 2021 "lucky bags." All lucky bags will be sold online by lottery, with applications opening at 10:00 AM on November 16th.

Starbucks is promoting this as a new way of delivering "good fortune" in the new normal era, and is offering this popular New Year's tradition in a contactless format so that customers can welcome the new year safely and securely with Starbucks coffee, even amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Starbucks' lucky bags have brought "good fortune" to many customers every year through sales methods that capture the needs of the times, such as adapting Japanese traditions to Starbucks' style and introducing online lotteries in 2018. The 2021 lucky bag will cost ¥7,500 (tax included, shipping included), and the lottery entry period is from 10:00 AM on November 16th to 11:59 PM on November 26th. This lucky bag comes in a canvas tote bag perfect for everyday use, filled with coffee bean exchange cards and other items.
The tote bag, made partially from recycled cotton, has a large gusset and a comfortable design, making it perfect for everyday use. Inside, the lucky bag is filled with an exclusive stainless steel tumbler or bottle, as well as original merchandise, Starbucks coffee, drink tickets, and more. This time, we've also added a new "Coffee Bean Exchange Card" (*), which can be exchanged for your favorite coffee beans at the store.
