Bottega Veneta releases new intrecciato bag "Olympia"

Jun 22, 2014

Bottega Veneta has released the new "OLIMPIA" bag for its 2014 Early Fall collection.

This handcrafted shoulder bag features a compact size and a simple design that can be worn for any occasion. It features the brand's signature intrecciato weave throughout. The name "Olympia" comes from the Teatro Olimpico, a theater designed by Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio in Vicenza, Italy, the brand's hometown.

The "Intrecciato Nappa" bag is available in seven colors: Aubazine, Burnt Red, Nero, New Light Gray, Rosa Shock, Signal Blue, and Sun. The "Intrecciato Tobu" bag, featuring original embroidery motifs and feather-like leather accents, is available in four colors: Ardoise, Aubazine, Mist, and Nero. Additionally, the slightly smaller "Intreccio Tob Ayers Olympia" will be available in seven colors: Mist, Nero, New Chartreuse, New Light Gray, Rosa Shock, Signal Blue, and Sun.

The Olympia will continue to be developed in the future with changes to materials, etc.
