
Bottega Veneta is releasing a new fragrance, Bottega Veneta Essence Aromatic. The eau de cologne, body lotion, and shower gel will be available in the brand's boutiques and official online store on March 5th, before expanding to other stores on the 12th. Creative director Tomas Maier was inspired by the Italian "dolce vita" (sweet life). "I aimed for a crisp cologne that, when worn by a woman, exudes an effortless elegance, just like her understated confidence." Master perfumer Michel Almelac brought Maier's vision to life. The fresh floral scent, composed of ingredients collected from around the world, including bergamot, coriander, rose, patchouli, and sandalwood, is an adaptation of a traditional cologne. When you wear it, you are first enveloped in the fresh, warm scent of amber, which gradually transforms into a mellower scent.
The advertising campaign for the fragrance was shot by photographer Bruce Weber on the golden beaches of South Florida, featuring Nine D'Urso, daughter of French fashion icon Inès de la Fressange.
Prices are Eau de Cologne (50ml/9,500 yen, 90ml/14,500 yen, 200ml/25,000 yen), body lotion (200ml/6,600 yen), and shower gel (200ml/5,600 yen). *All prices exclude tax.
