On April 1st, Yoku Moku Co., Ltd., a manufacturer and retailer of Western confectionery, will be introducing a new strawberry flavor to their "Cigare Ice Cream" (5 sticks/1,080 yen), a marriage of cigars and ice cream.

Since its release in 2015, "Cigare Ice Cream," which combines cigar-shaped cookies "cigars" with ice cream, has been featured on television, in magazines, and in online news, and has become a hot topic on social media.

The new flavor uses 29% strawberry juice in the ice cream, which was specially developed to match the cigars, achieving just the right amount of acidity and a refreshing sweetness. It is a taste that will be loved by everyone, from children to adults.

The sale period is scheduled to run from April 1st to March 31st, 2018, and will be available in stores at the Aoyama flagship store, Tokyo Station Ichibangai store, Mitsukoshi Nihombashi main store, Odakyu Department Store Shinjuku main store and Machida store, Tobu Department Store Ikebukuro store, Funabashi store and Toyoko store, and Lazona Kawasaki Plaza store.
