British Collectors Market with a Christmas market theme

Nov 6, 2020
BRITISH MADE, a brand developed by Watanabe Sangyo Co., Ltd. that delivers a "British lifestyle with a story" based on the concept of "Stories of British Life," will be holding its 8th "BRITISH COLLECTORS MARKET" on November 21st at its Aoyama flagship store.

Based on the concept of "Feeling Britain in Japan," British Collectors Market will bring together specialist shops from all over Japan covering every genre of necessities, including food, clothing, and shelter, and will be held at the British Made Aoyama flagship store on November 21st.

This year's British Collectors Market, the 8th in the series, will be themed around a "Christmas market." In mid-November, the streets of London are lit up with sparkling illuminations, transforming into a festive atmosphere. British markets are a wonderful way to end the year, and their charming, warm atmosphere is overflowing with warmth.

What's more, this time we've also started selling some of the items from the participating shops on our online shop so you can enjoy them from the comfort of your own home! For those who have lived far away and have been unable to visit in the past, this is your chance to enjoy them. We look forward to seeing you there.

We are committed to being vegan (with the exception of our body cream, which contains a small amount of beeswax), and we do not use any genetically modified, harmful, or environmentally toxic ingredients. We combine and refine our knowledge of pharmacology and herbs with traditional British recipes to maximize the natural power of plants. Our simple packaging, featuring artist-designed graphics, also makes a sophisticated addition to any interior.

Our physical store is located at Namikibashi Crossing in Shibuya. Our specialty is Ross-on-Wye from Herefordshire, which the owner was impressed with, available on tap, and takoyaki, a delicious pairing with cider and craft beer.

DEENEY'S, a London-based chain serving Scottish-flavored street food, debuted in Japan in September 2017 at an event for British fashion brand FRED PERRY, and opened its first Japanese store in a trailer in front of National Azabu Supermarket, its base, at the end of December of the same year. "At DEENEY'S, our mission is to spread awareness of the traditional Scottish dish, 'haggis,'" says owner and chef Carol Deeney. The haggis-filled toastie, nicknamed "Macbeth," created by Deeney, has been highly praised by British media, including being named one of London's best sandwiches. dodotokyo is a flower arrangement artist inspired by the samurai spirit of kendo and kyudo. Tsuki has experience working at long-established florists in London and elsewhere in Europe, while Nishio is an exceptional artist, bringing his delicate aesthetic sense to bear on his motto of "one-of-a-kind."
