Mitsukoshi Isetan's charity campaign, "Merry Green Christmas," will be held at a total of 37 Mitsukoshi Isetan Group and cooperating stores from December 4th.

The campaign, which began in 2006, is now in its eighth year, and as of last year, over 165 million yen has been donated through the Green Santa Fund to activities such as donating domestically produced timber products to children and reforestation.

This year, the charity item, "Bear Santa BE@RBRICK Strap" (300 yen each, 100 yen of which will be donated to charity), will be on sale again. Three types of items will be available in color variations such as forest green, strawberry, and mint green, evoking the green forests where creatures gather. It also comes with an earphone jack pin for smartphones.

In addition, sales have begun for the "Wonder Christmas Charity Book" (300 yen each, 100 yen of which will be donated to charity, excluding some stores), which contains illustrations and stories by Finnish artist Klaus Haapaniemi, who is responsible for the illustrations for Isetan's Christmas campaign.
