A collage and poster exhibition will also be held at the same time. The exhibition will feature collages by Kosuke Kawamura using reproductions of original drawings provided by Otomo, as well as posters of Otomo's films. Following the Kichijoji screening, the Fukuoka Nishitetsu Hall (6F Solaria Stage, 2-11-3 Tenjin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka) will screen the digitally remastered versions of "Akira," "Steamboy," and "Short Piece," while the Kobe Art Village Center (5-3-14 Shinkaichi, Hyogo-ku, Kobe) will screen the digitally remastered versions of "Akira" and "Short Piece" on the 26th and 27th.
Bakuon screening is an attempt to watch a movie in a loud environment, using the full sound settings of a music concert and turning the volume up to the limit. The Bakuon Film Festival has been held every summer since 2009, screening a wide range of genres from music films to anime films. At the 2011 Bakuon Film Festival, the Blu-ray version of "Akira" was screened.
