DUBAI ASSURED certification now even more widespread! Introducing Dubai's hygienic environment through an easy-to-understand video
In Dubai, which reopened to tourists in July, many tourist attractions, retail establishments, attractions, and entertainment venues are now receiving the "DUBAI ASSURED" certification, Dubai's unique infection prevention certification, only if they are recognized as taking thorough pandemic countermeasures and adhering to health and safety protocols. The "DUBAI ASSURED" certification was introduced as part of Dubai's efforts to reassure travelers worldwide that the city remains one of the safest cities in the world.
Approximately 90% of hotels in Dubai have already been awarded the "DUBAI ASSURED" certification, with the remaining hotels currently undergoing inspections. Major shopping malls, family entertainment venues, and traditional market retailers (such as Al Fahidi Souq, Gold Souq, Spice Souq, and Textile Souq) have all been inspected and awarded the "DUBAI ASSURED" certification. All indoor and outdoor attractions, such as theme parks and water parks, are also inspected under this compliance program.
The "DUBAI ASSURED" certification is issued free of charge and is valid for 15 days. It is renewed every two weeks after being verified by inspectors from three government agencies. Displaying the certified sign serves as a visual identity that reassures tourists and residents that safety and health measures are being adhered to.
