On August 19th, Re-Style, located on the third floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku, was reborn under a new concept, with a new zone centered on people, which is the strength of department stores. From October 21st, the store will host "Knitting Piece," an event born from the intersection of knitwear and art.
Dates: Wednesday, October 21st - Tuesday, November 3rdVenue: Re-Style, 3rd floor of the Main Building

From left: cushion 14,300 yen, pants 101,200 yen, knit 85,800 yen, knit 77,000 yen, knit 77,000 yen, cardigan 74,800 yen. All exclusive to Isetan Shinjuku.
The title "Knitting" not only refers to knitting, but also to spinning, connecting, involving, and warmth. Knitwear is created by creators who weave a story, while art weaves past cultural backgrounds and traditional techniques into the present. Although both "spinning" are used in different ways, "knitwear" and "art" are expressed in different ways... This event was created with this idea in mind, allowing visitors to see, touch, compare, and enjoy these two. This time, we have teamed up with CCC Art Lab Co., Ltd.

We will be exhibiting and selling artworks such as illustrations and objects by three artists selected with the keyword "spinning." We will also be introducing knitwear from brands with traditions and stories behind their production, as well as one-of-a-kind knitwear by designers created specifically for this event.
