Louis Vuitton launches new sneaker collection, "A View," in collaboration with pro skateboarder Lucien Clark

Oct 16, 2020
Louis Vuitton will unveil the new "A View" sneaker as part of its Spring/Summer 2021 Men's Pre-Collection.

Born from a collaboration with professional skateboarder Lucien Clark, the shoe symbolizes the bond between Men's Artistic Director Virgil Abloh and the skater community. The sneaker visualizes Virgil Abloh's language and evolves the key functional aspects of a professional skater's wardrobe. The new "A View" sneaker embodies Virgil Abloh's central idea of streetwear: "It represents a culture that encompasses reality, empathy, and unity."

Evoking the approachability of the pioneers who led the 1990s, the "A View" is constructed from technical textile and calf leather with reflective detailing, set within a cushioned framework of technical foam and a polyurethane sole. Crafted with and for skaters in an ongoing dialogue with Lucien Clark, the sneakers are based on adaptability, an essential element of Virgil Abloh's design philosophy at Louis Vuitton. The shoes are a staple for any contemporary man's wardrobe, perfect for everyday wear, while also allowing you to skate whenever and wherever you want. Available in three colorways: black and orange, white and orange, and blue.

Scheduled to be released in mid-December 2020
