Valentino will open a pop-up shop at the Isetan Shinjuku store from November 16th to 29th, offering an early look at shoes from the brand's Spring 2017 collection. The pop-up shop will showcase the new SOUL ROCKSTUD collection, which debuted in the Fall/Winter 2016-2017 collection, including sandals (¥126,000), pumps (¥102,000), loafers (¥126,000), and slides (¥87,000). The collection features the brand's iconic microstuds on the welt, which are applied using highly innovative artisanal techniques. Other items planned for the pop-up shop include Valentino's '90s shapes, pieces suitable for Fall/Winter, and everyday shoes and sneakers.

In addition, new models and colours will be available for the popular ROCKSTUD SPIKE bag collection, which first appeared on the 2016 AW runway. Micro studs are individually attached by hand to the intersection points of a lattice pattern, and the bag can also be carried like a clutch by removing the chain, shoulder strap and handle.

The new items from the SOUL ROCKSTUD and ROCKSTUD SPIKE collections will be available in advance at the pop-up shop before being rolled out nationwide.
