French premium casual brand LACOSTE will release its AUTUMN WINTER 2020 FASHION SHOW COLLECTION on October 21st.

The Lacoste 2020 Autumn/Winter Collection marks the third dialogue between Creative Director Louise Trotter and Lacoste's passionate and powerful founder, René Lacoste. René Lacoste's unwavering excellence on and off the tennis court was also shared by his wife, golf champion Simone Thion de la Chaume. They were truly a power couple, with distinguished careers in the sports world. Louise Trotter has created a collection that beautifully balances the contrasts of tennis and golf. Infusing modern technology with century-old tailoring techniques, the collection updates Lacoste's timeless French heritage by showcasing a fresh, sporty style.


Elegant and functional designs are perfect for leisure and city wear, and the collection pursues comfort with an athletic feel. The vibrant color palette—Lacoste green and navy, plus tennis court brown, spearmint, sky blue, candy pink, orange, lemon, and tan—evokes the casual training wear worn by professional athletes for weekend tournaments, friendly matches, and their private lives. In this way, comfort and ease are now considered luxury. Fitted sports blazers and trousers are crafted from technical jersey, complemented by playful shell knits, brushed pullovers, and checks like Prince of Wales, houndstooth, and Vichy (gingham). Lacoste crocodiles peek out from coat liners, and boxy polo shirts feature chunky knit collars and plackets. Protective outerwear is reimagined, with trenches and duffels crafted from sleek neoprene, soft alpaca, leather, and thermal topstitching.
