The long-awaited GMT model has arrived in the NORQAIN 2020 collection! Swiss mechanical watch brand NORQAIN has added four new models to its Freedom 60 collection: two GMT models (one of which is limited to 300 pieces worldwide) and two three-hand models.
The bronze case exudes vintage luxury and elegance, reviving the design of watches from the 1960s in a modern, new silicon aluminum bronze alloy. In addition, the new GMT and three-hand models are equipped with the chronometer-certified GMT Manufacture Calibre NN20/2 and the three-hand Manufacture Calibre NN20/1, respectively, and are equipped with a 70-hour "weekendproof" power reserve, meaning the watch can be left unattended for two days over the weekend without the need for time adjustment.
A word from Norqain CEO Ben Kaffer: "In developing and designing the Freedom 60 Collection, we listened to the opinions of our customers, followers, and watch retailers. The GMT model's compact size and attractive proportions (40mm case diameter/14.7mm thickness) will be a major attraction for NORQAIN stakeholders and fans of Swiss mechanical watches. The local jumping hour function integrated into the GMT Manufacture Calibre NN20/02 is also a key feature of this model. The Freedom 60 Collection is a symbol of both NORQAIN's own freedom as an independent Swiss brand and the freedom that NORQAIN wearers feel when pursuing their own individuality. The new Freedom 60 Collection, which was launched in July and October 2020, is a perfect example of this."

NORQAIN Freedom 60 GMT models in steel and bronze
The highlight of this launch is the Freedom 60 GMT, NORQAIN's first watch with a GMT function. True to the identity of the Freedom 60 collection, the Freedom 60 GMT is a symbol of the freedom its wearers feel as they embark on their own path.
In addition to the stainless steel model, the Freedom 60 GMT will also be available in a bronze model, limited to 300 pieces worldwide. The bronze case combines satin and polished finishes, resulting in a yellowish bronze color. One of its charms is that the color will gradually become more subdued with continued use. The Freedom 60 GMT is made from a silicon aluminum bronze alloy, a metal typically used for marine components, which is highly resistant to corrosion and wear compared to the bronze used in conventional watch cases. The bezel, NORQAIN plate, hand-applied indexes, and hands, all finished with old radium-colored Super-LumiNova, are all made of bronze, while the stainless steel exterior of the crystal caseback is treated with bronze PVD. Another distinctive feature of this stylish watch is its cedar brown dial. Only 300 pieces are available worldwide.

The Freedom 60 GMT features a black dial on the stainless steel model and a cedar brown dial on the bronze model. The dial's centerpiece features a beautiful, highly legible GMT scale. The nighttime display from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM is displayed with an anthracite gray or black half-ring, while the daytime display from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM is displayed with a white half-ring. The GMT function allows you to quickly check the time in a second time zone. Protecting the dial is a scratch-resistant, domed sapphire crystal reminiscent of 1960s watch design. The Freedom 60 GMT measures 40mm in diameter and 49mm lug-to-lug.
Each stainless steel or bronze model is powered by the high-quality, high-performance Manufacture Caliber NN20/2. This complex Manufacture Caliber NN20/2 exceeds industry standards and is COSC chronometer-certified. It also features an innovative local jumping hour function, allowing you to safely and easily set the time at any time of day, meaning you can set a new time zone at any time without having to reset the time. The transparent caseback allows you to admire the movement in all its glory. The mechanism's bridges are engraved with NORQAIN's core values: Adventure, Freedom, and Independence, while the rotor is adorned with the gold NORQAIN "double-N" logo, symbolizing the Swiss Alps.

NORQAIN Freedom 60 three-hand models in steel and bronze
The Freedom 60 39MM's domed sapphire crystal protects its simply designed dial. The case diameter is a classic 39mm. It is available in two variations: a stainless steel case with an anthracite gray dial, or a bronze case with a cream dial.
This stainless-steel model features a multi-colored anthracite gray dial, accented by old radium-colored Super-LumiNova and hand-applied indexes.
The bronze case used by NORQAIN is distinctive for its yellow color. Its material composition differs from the more commonly seen rose-colored bronze. The NORQAIN plate on the left side of the case is also made of bronze and can be personalized with a personalized engraving. Additionally, the buckle on the watch's Norland leather strap is made of the same bronze as the case, and the outer ring of the crystal caseback is made of PVD-bronze-treated steel.

The beautiful finish of the NORQAIN Manufacture Calibre NN20/1 can be admired through the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Enjoy the NORQAIN core values of Adventure, Freedom, and Independence engraved on the bridges, as well as the "double-N" NORQAIN logo on the rotor.
The Freedom 60 39 has a case diameter of 39 mm and a thickness of 11.7 mm. These beautiful proportions are made possible by the compact and slim NORQAIN Manufacture Calibre NN20/1, a feature long desired by many watch enthusiasts. The lug-to-lug length is 48mm.
