The new TAG Heuer Monaco features an impressive square face and a stainless steel bracelet.

Oct 9, 2020
Swiss luxury watch brand TAG Heuer is introducing three new models in its Monaco collection.

The striking new models include one with a bold black dial and a sunburst satin finish, and another with a lustrous blue dial and a sunburst satin finish, reminiscent of the original Monaco released in 1969. Both models feature a stainless steel bracelet. They feature striking white square counters at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock, as well as a red central chronograph seconds hand. *The blue dial is scheduled to be released in January 2021.

This bracelet, which has been adopted for the TAG Heuer Monaco collection for the first time in approximately 20 years, is made of stainless steel and faithfully reproduces the H-shaped design used on the Monaco from the early 1970s, while also improving comfort. The bracelet's lugs have been made thicker to support the weight of the head, while the part that wraps around the wrist has been made thinner to improve comfort.

The black dial model will also be available on a black leather strap, further enriching the collection.

The Calibre Heuer 02 powering this model can be seen through the sapphire crystal case back and boasts a power reserve of approximately 80 hours. This new model featuring this powerful movement is a testament to TAG Heuer's ability to effortlessly combine iconic design with the excellence of its in-house technology.

More than 50 years later, the Monaco continues to tell its story with a modern interpretation. With each new model, this iconic timepiece continues to reflect the spirit of TAG Heuer watchmaking, further cementing its position as one of the most avant-garde models in the luxury watch industry. With the launch of these new Monaco watches, coinciding with the brand's 160th anniversary, TAG Heuer is writing a new chapter in its history and simultaneously carrying the Monaco into the future.
