Shogakukan has announced the publication of a new series, "Art Book Collection: Actresses," in its popular photo book series, "Art Book Collection," in which subjects team up with photographers. As the name suggests, the series focuses on actresses as its subjects, and the first installment of this series features a collaboration between actress Matsumoto Honoka and photographer Kawashima Kotori.

And now, ahead of the photo book's release on November 9, a photo exhibition commemorating the publication, "What is Gelato? Exhibition," will be held at "COMINGSOON" on the first floor of Shibuya PARCO from October 9th.

The title of this photo book was apparently adopted from a question that Matsumoto Honoka wrote while eating gelato in a hot spring town during filming:
"What is gelato?" So cute!
This exhibition will feature over 50 photographs taken by Kawashima Kotori in the hot spring town of Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, where the photo shoot took place, as well as in the vast natural scenery of Ueda City and the highlands. Shots not included in the photo book will also be on display.

In addition, A3-sized acrylic photos with the photo book (signed by Matsumoto Honoka and Kawashima Kotori / 30,000 yen) will be available to order exclusively at the venue and online shop, as well as merchandise that can only be purchased here, such as T-shirts, key chains, glasses, pouches, and stickers exclusive to this exhibition. The lineup also includes an "original milk bottle pudding" that evokes a retro hot spring resort, which is also a must-see.

This exhibition, born from the collaboration of Matsumoto Honoka and Kawashima Kotori, has a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere. Be sure to come and enjoy it at the venue.
