"Hitchcock/Truffaut" x Pass the Baton: One-of-a-kind Paint-Over Bag Released

Nov 28, 2016

A special project by PASS THE BATON, in conjunction with the film "Hitchcock/Truffaut," due for release on December 10th, will begin on December 7th.

"Hitchcock/Truffaut" is based on the precious audiotapes of the long interviews François Truffaut passionately pursued with his beloved, great director Alfred Hitchcock. The interviews have been published worldwide as books and continue to be read today as "film textbooks" and a bible for all creative professionals, including those involved in the film industry.

In addition to the precious audiotapes of Hitchcock and Truffaut, this film also features interviews with 10 leading filmmakers in today's film industry, including Hitchcock's admirers, Martin Scorsese, David Fincher, Kiyoshi Kurosawa, Wes Anderson, and Richard Linklater. This film will allow viewers to rediscover just how great Hitchcock was and why he is considered such a great man.

As a collaboration project with the film, Pass the Baton will be releasing a limited number of one-of-a-kind paint-over bags (1,500 yen), which are made by adding new designs to used shopping bags. You can purchase them at a special price by showing your cinema ticket stub. Purchasers will also receive a "not-for-sale press sheet" as a gift. *Available while supplies last.
