Product Features
1. The "Aroma Line" tells you the angle at which to brew the best coffee.
There are two lines on the side of the kettle, labeled "1st" and "2nd." This line is called the "aroma line," and it tells you the speed and amount of hot water to pour, which was previously impossible to express.
 
How to Use
Pour hot water for steeping into the 1st line and hot water for brewing into the 2nd line.
 
1st (Steaming)
Fill the kettle with water and bring it to a boil. Once the hot water is ready, tilt the kettle until the 1st line is parallel to the table where you will be brewing the coffee, and pour in the hot water. After pouring the hot water over the entire coffee, let it steep for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
2nd (Extracting)
Once steeping is complete, tilt the kettle until the 2nd line is parallel to the table where you will be brewing the coffee, and pour in the amount of hot water needed for the desired number of cups all at once.
 
Until now, there was no guideline for how quickly you should pour the hot water. We hope that this Aroma Kettle will inspire you to enjoy hand-dripping coffee more than ever before.
 
2. When used together with Melitta coffee filters, anyone can easily make delicious coffee.
Melitta coffee filters control the extraction time. They are designed based on Melitta's unique coffee extraction theory, the "Melitta Gold Standard," which includes Melitta single-hole extraction.
Using the Aroma Kettle together with Melitta coffee filters (Melitta coffee filters, Melitta aroma filters, Melitta ceramic filters) will make brewing coffee even easier.
 
3. Made in Tsubame, Niigata Prefecture, an area known for its expertise in metalworking.
