An exhibition of "WONDERWALL," organized by interior designer Masamichi Katayama, will be held at the Pola Museum Annex in Ginza, Tokyo, from April 18th until May 25th.
The exhibition will focus on "models," an essential part of the design process. It aims to allow visitors to virtually experience actual spaces and peer into Katayama's mind. Advance copies of "WONDERWALL Archives 02" (PARCO Publishing, 3,600 yen), a collection of his works scheduled for publication in early June, will be available for pre-sale at the venue.
To commemorate the exhibition, two types of T-shirts will be released in collaboration between Katayama and "MAISON KITSUNE." They feature "PANORAMIQUE" printed on a white background and "CONSTRUCTIF" printed on a navy background, priced at 13,000 yen each. These texts were suggested in French by Katayama, a fan of the brand, when he consulted Maison Kitsuné designer Kuroki Masaya about making a T-shirt. They mean "panoramic" and "structural," respectively. Available in women's XXS and XS, and men's S, M, and L sizes. Available at the venue and the official Wonderwall web shop from April 18th. Limited to 100 copies of each.
