CAMPER, a shoe brand from Mallorca, Spain, has begun a partnership with ISSEY MIYAKE's women's line this season. The first project is the "Peu Form" footwear collection by ISSEY MIYAKE designer Satoshi Kondo. This collaboration embodies a completely new approach to shoes, born from the meeting of two brands that each pursue craftsmanship, innovation, and the relationship between the body and clothing/shoes.

ISSEY MIYAKE's philosophy fuses with CAMPER's "Peu"
Since presenting its first collection in 1971, ISSEY MIYAKE has redefined the relationship between the body and fabric, centered around unique concepts such as "a piece of cloth" and "space." Meanwhile, CAMPER has continued to create shoes that fit the natural shape of the human foot through its "Peu" series, which means "foot" in Mallorcan.

This "Peu Form" is based on CAMPER's signature work "Peu," and reinterprets the physical sensations and movement of fabric that are unique to ISSEY MIYAKE. By enveloping the foot in a single piece of leather, a silhouette is created that looks as if the fabric is draping.

Supple and free-flowing designs that reexamine the meaning of "wearing shoes"
"Peu Form" places importance on being close to the wearer's movements and lifestyle, and offers two styles. One is a soft shoe that can be worn like a slipper. The other is ankle boots that fit your feet like a "second skin." Both can be folded compactly, and are functional enough for modern people who travel and are on the move a lot. The upper is made of high-quality Italian leather, the insole is made of polyurethane, and the outsole is made of 20% recycled TPU, making it environmentally friendly.

Available in four colors: black, white, Klein Blue, and CAMPER's signature red. Each has a sophisticated look and will add a stylish accent to your outfit.

Prior to the release, a global launch event will be held at Stand By on Cat Street in Tokyo from July 15th to 22nd. Performances by dancer Mariko Kakizaki and composer Kimiki Nakano are scheduled for the first day, July 11th. In addition, installations to commemorate the launch will be set up in stores that carry Peu Form. (At CAMPER Shinjuku Isetan Men's, the sale will be extended until the 29th.)
