Epson will release three new models from its ORIENT STAR Contemporary Collection on October 8, 2020, featuring fresh color dials on the popular "Semi-Skeleton" model. The models featuring new mother-of-pearl dials in particular offer a sophisticated look that's different from previous models.

Orient Star's modern and stylish Contemporary Collection features beautiful color dials with metal dials. Featuring the brand's iconic power reserve indicator at 12 o'clock and a window at 9 o'clock that allows viewers to view the intricate mechanical movement, the "Semi-Skeleton" model offers dials in standard black and white, as well as Orient Star's signature navy and brown. These new models feature even more refined and sophisticated techniques.

A first for this series, these two new dials feature hand-crafted gradational mother-of-pearl. The theme is "The sea reflecting the beautiful sky that appears for only a brief moment each day." The Golden Hour dial, capturing the moment just before sunset or just after sunrise, combines reddish-brown mother-of-pearl with pink gold accents to express the dynamic afterglow of the sun illuminating the boundary between sky and sea, as well as the dawn light. Conversely, the Blue Hour dial, depicting a scene just after sunset or just before sunrise, combines deep blue mother-of-pearl with yellow gold accents to represent the sunlight disappearing beyond the horizon and the first rays of light illuminating the sea at dawn. Both models feature a semi-skeleton at 9 o'clock, symbolizing sunlight, which stands out against the dial and stimulates the viewer's imagination.

The other new model is the "Semi-Skeleton," which combines one of Orient Star's most popular dials, a gray dial, with pink gold accents. The chic and dressy look created by the radial gray dial is easy to match with classic navy or gray suits, creating a casually stylish look for your wrist in business situations.
