Alexander McQueen presented its 2014-15 Autumn/Winter collection. In keeping with the style of female designer Sarah Burton, the collection featured more romantic and feminine elements.
Fur, lace, and pompoms were key elements, used on coats and dresses, respectively, creating the brand's signature dark and gorgeous look. The lace patterns, featuring stars, moons, and unicorns, exude a somewhat dreamy, girlish vibe. The fur was combined with ivy-patterned patent leather and velvet, blending together to create a dignified atmosphere. There was also an elaborate piece featuring combed organza that resembled fur.
Other pieces featured were a series with feather embroidery that created a miniature-like texture, and McQueen-esque garments with lace sewn freely in all directions in floral patterns.
