Mint Designs will open its first street-level flagship store in Aoyama, Tokyo, on August 5th. The address is 5-49-5 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. The shop will carry all of Mint Designs' lines, including the collection line, the daily line "SKETCH," and the home line featuring original textiles. The store also plans to offer products and books selected by Mint Designs, stimulating interests beyond fashion. The store was designed by Tsune Nagasaka of Schemata Architects. A denim tote bag (7,500 yen) and three types of pins (2,800 yen each) will be available exclusively at the store. To commemorate the opening, customers who spend over 20,000 yen will receive a free pass case (one of four types) on a first-come, first-served basis.
