The exhibition "Regard Intense - The Perspectives and Visions of 16 Artists on Everyday Life and Flowers" will be held at AL in Ebisu, Tokyo, from July 8th to 18th.
The exhibition features photographs by 16 photographers based on two long-standing themes: "everyday life" and "flowers," ideal subjects that reflect the photographers' unique qualities and aesthetic sensibilities. Under the theme of "Regard Intense," which also serves as the title, the 16 photographers, who met by chance at a workshop, created the collective work "Regard Intense."
Through the pure gazes of these photographers, who all have completely different careers and photographic styles, visitors can confront the "real events of this world" captured in the photographs and share the photographers' feelings by overlaying and synchronizing them with the real emotions they have experienced in their own lives. The participating photographers were 16 people, including Fujita Yasuyo, Ishishita Rie, Ishizaka Hiroshi, Kanagawa Nobue, Maruyama Kyoko, Mori Atsuko, Morita Yuki, Murakami Yukari, Nanami Asako, Sakamoto Shino, Sato Motoko, Sekiya Megumi, Shinya Kana, Tanaka Hiroko, Takeya Keiko, and Watanabe Mika.
Detailed event information will be posted on the official website (https://www.facebook.com/regardintense/) and event page (https://www.facebook.com/events/1729016064026068/).
