Mika Ninagawa's photo exhibition "IN MY ROOM" will be held at the Parco Museum on the 3rd floor of Shibuya Parco Part 1 from June 18th to July 4th.

The exhibition is the first of the "SHIBUYA PARCO MUSEUM FINAL EXHIBITIONS," a project to present three exhibitions by artists with close ties to Shibuya Parco as the Parco Museum closes its doors until its temporary closure on August 7th. The venue will display works from Ninagawa's photo book "IN MY ROOM," which will be published on June 30th. "IN MY ROOM" is a book version of the popular series "Mika Ninagawa's Private Mode" from the magazine "EYESCREAM," and is filled with photographs capturing the most popular "men" in their private lives. The selected "men" include Kubozuka Yosuke, Nagase Masatoshi, Ayano Go, Saito Takumi, Murakami Jun, Shibuya Keiichiro, Tsumabuki Satoshi, Kaneko Nobuaki, Matsuyama Kenichi, Saotome Taichi, Omori Nao, Tamaki Hiroshi, Inoko Toshiyuki, Douchin Yoshikuni, Iseya Yusuke, Asano Tadanobu, Sakaguchi Kentaro, and Higashide Masahiro.
After being announced as the winner of the 26th Kimura Ihei Photography Award in 2001, Ninagawa Mika held a new photo exhibition, "Mellow Poisonous Landscapes," at Parco Gallery. Since then, she has continued to hold solo exhibitions at Parco, including "Liquid Dreams" in 2003, "Ninagawa Fantasy Theater" in 2008, and "Helter Skelter" in 2012. In 2007, she held an exhibition titled "Sakuran Gorgeous Colors" at the Parco Museum for her directorial debut, the film "Sakuran," and her second film, "Helter Skelter," was featured in Parco advertisements, making her an artist with ties to Parco.
