Cotogoto, a Japanese handicraft and lifestyle goods store in Koenji, Tokyo, is hosting the "Basket and Strainer Exhibition: Summer Tools Made from Natural Materials" event from July 22nd to August 2nd, showcasing 100 types of baskets and strainers from all over Japan.

The exhibition showcases everyday items, primarily baskets and strainers, made by artisans from all over the country. During the exhibition, approximately 100 items will be gathered together, including table strainers and baskets for outings made from natural materials such as bamboo, akebia, and rattan, as well as bamboo lunch boxes and cutlery. On July 30th and 31st, acco, the maker of the basket bag brand Järvi, will also be holding a workshop on weaving cookie plates out of rattan.
