TOD'S will open a pop-up shop, "TOD'S CRAFTSMANSHIP AND INNOVATION," on The Stage on the first floor of the Isetan Shinjuku main building from July 13th to 19th, showcasing the brand's renowned craftsmanship and innovation. Among the items on display is the iconic "DOUBLE-T" bag, newly redesigned in collaboration with ceramic artist Takuro Kuwata. Continuing to explore the boundaries between art and craft, Takuro Kuwata has created a number of unique ceramic works, characterized by boldly deformed shapes and vibrant colors, that have garnered global attention in the contemporary ceramics world. The pop-up will feature eight one-of-a-kind "DOUBLE-T" models, each featuring a specially designed buckle. Additionally, five Isetan Shinjuku-exclusive models will be available, crafted from materials such as snakeskin (python) and chic hair calf leather.

In addition to these items, works inspired by the latest collection will also be on display at the venue. A talk event will be held from 3pm on July 13th with Takuro Kuwata and Bijutsu Techo editor-in-chief Iwabuchi Teiya, where they will discuss the story behind this collaboration and the contemporary art scene. In addition, there will be a service where the first 50 people to purchase over 216,000 yen at the venue during the event will receive a free initial charm.
