SAZABY LEAGUE Co., Ltd. will be selling three autumnal baker's scones themed around sweet potato, chestnut, and pumpkin at their scone specialty shop "BAKERS gonna BAKE," which has an integrated workshop, for a limited time only at Tokyo Station from October 1, 2020.
"BAKERS gonna BAKE" opened at the Yaesu North exit of Tokyo Station in August 2020. Our original baker's scones are made with carefully selected ingredients and baked with care, and come in a variety of unique flavors, from the "orthodox" you'll never get tired of eating every day, to gorgeous, cake-like ones and "evolved" ones that go well with alcohol.
The "DAIGAKUIMO" scone, topped with fluffy "Daigakuimo sweet potato," has baked sweet potato kneaded into the scone dough to enhance the potato flavor. The fragrant, sweet and salty "Daigakuimo sweet potato" placed on top is an exquisite match, creating a new scone experience never before seen in appearance or taste. Other items on offer include the "Marron and Rum Raisin Scone," a marron glacé and rum raisin scone topped with a whole chestnut in its skin, and the "Pumpkin & Cream Cheese Scone Sandwich," a scone with the sweetness of pumpkin and a subtle cinnamon aroma, topped with Hokkaido pumpkin paste and cream cheese. Packed in a box, they make a great little gift, or a treat for yourself.
