Miu Miu has released a short film for its new eyewear collection, "SCENIQUE."

"SCENIQUE" is characterized by its curved lines and oversized silhouettes. It consists of four models, three types of sunglasses and one type of optical frame. The "SMU55R" and "SMU56R," introduced in the SS16 collection, feature a curved metal frame paired with oversized lenses. The bold volume of the front is contrasted with the slim frame and temples, creating an exquisite contrast. The double metal bridge emphasizes the contours of the upper front, highlighting the distinctive butterfly-like cat-eye silhouette.

The third acetate model, "SMU11R," was inspired by a model seen on the fashion show. While retaining the collection's distinctive oversized design, the double metal bridge and unique wave-like contours make this a striking model. Additionally, the optical collection "VMU01P" features a striking model with a soft cat-eye design on the front, adorned with sparkling micro-crystals hand-applied.

In the short movie released this time, Kaia Gerber, wearing gold frames with butterfly-like lenses and archive Miu Miu pieces, perfectly embodies the fresh and feminine charm of the Miu Miu girl. The setting is reminiscent of a desert oasis in an unspecified location that transcends time and space. In the movie, Kaia Gerber wakes up alone in a somewhat unfamiliar atmosphere that still evokes the lingering effects of the previous night, and jumps into a pool where sunlight sparkles on the water's surface.
