Sailor Moon is a shojo manga written by Naoko Takeuchi that began serialization in the monthly magazine "Nakayoshi" (published by Kodansha) in 1991. The original manga has been translated into 17 languages, and the animated series has aired in over 40 countries, creating a social phenomenon both in Japan and overseas. With the movie "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal" scheduled for release in January of next year, the series continues to be beloved by countless fans. JINS, with a desire to create eyewear that women who grew up with Sailor Moon could casually wear, released a collaboration with "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal" in February 2016, which garnered a huge response.
